The picture above shows well where is the beach we use when we are at Pompano. Looking at the pier on the left, that's it, it starts there. Below are picures of the gate and private passway we use to go the beach. They have improved the entrance to the beach, building steps from the ramp and lookout. This day, when we went to the beach, they were cleaning the excess accumulation of shells from the canal into the beach side. Lots of people wait for this moment because they can find beautiful shells and other marine formations. This was our last full day in Florida, not a good day to take pictures, ...but the only time when I felt like bringing the camera to the beach. |
